“Red” as we called her was the first coondawg we owned ourselves. She was a great dog, and one of the family. Even though she didn’t go well by herself, she could really locte the tree and rattle the leaves off the wood. She died in December of 2009 at the age of about 12.
Redtide Coondawgs and Redtide Kennels is named in her honor. She will be missed, but it was time.
Before Red, we hunted Walkers with a friend of ours. Thank you Greg Myers for taking us that first night….it’s your fault we are addicts :-). But we have no desire for “rehab”. We’ll just camp in the woods! And thank you for allowing Rolex and Windy to come be a part of our coon hunting family.
